Faced with rising costs, how can the supplier increase its prices?

In times of crisis, the contractual undertakings of the parties can show their limits. What are the applicable legal rules to change the prices ?
 
The Covid-19 health crisis and the attack of Ukraine by the Russian army successively caused an increase in the price of raw materials and components and generalized inflation. Both suppliers and distributors find themselves faced with problems related to the often sudden and very substantial increase in the price of their own supplies. Two main situations can be distinguished: that in which the parties have not fixed the pricing conditions (most often by establishing a simple current flow of orders) and that in which the parties have concluded a framework agreement fixing the prices for a fixed term.
