So Deck pursues external growth and raises €1.5 million from IRDI Capital Investissement and a Bordeaux-based industrialist

Altaïr Avocats assisted IRDI CAPITAL INVESTISSEMENT in raising 1.5 million € for So Deck. This fund raising, completed in March 2023, enabled So Deck to acquire Thoreau, a company specializing in exterior joinery. The operation will enable So Deck to accelerate its growth and increase its production capacity.

So Deck, a company founded in 2014, and run by Raphaël Gueguin and Karim El Harchi, has become a major player in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in wooden fittings and fixtures.

The recognition of its expertise by a prestigious clientele has enabled it to generate steady, profitable growth since its inception.

A win-win combination. The acquisition of Thoreau, based in Langon (Gironde), provides So Deck with an ideal complement in terms of business approach, geographical location, production tools and customer base.
