Philippe Berteaux is a graduate of Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II). A lawyer since 1993, Philippe began his career at Borloo & Associés, a renowned law firm specializing in restructuring and bankruptcy law. In 1999, he joined Lantourne & Associés as a senior associate in the department dedicated to companies in financial distress. In 2007, Philippe founded his own boutique firm, where he primarily represented small and medium-sized enterprises in the out-of-court and judicial resolution of their financial difficulties.
In 2012, Philippe joined the firm Marvell Avocats as a partner in charge of the Restructuring department.
In 2022, he founded the law firm WB Legal with Serge Wilinski.
Philippe advises French and international clients on all matters related to distressed corporate law and also handles complex commercial litigation as well as mergers and acquisitions.
