Valérie Foudriat-Fernandez, a partner with the Marseille office, has been advising SMEs and mid-cap companies, both family-owned, listed and unlisted, for nearly 25 years (including 12 years in legal departments) on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, stock market law and contract law in France and internationally.
Before joining the legal profession, Valérie worked for more than 12 years as Legal Director and member of Executive Committees and Boards of Directors of major international listed companies such as Cybernetix (TechnipFMC), Areva and Gemplus (Gemalto).
Valérie holds a DESS (Diplôme d’études supérieures spécialisées- Diploma oh higher specialised studies)-DJCE (Diplôme de Juriste Conseil en Entreprise- postgraduate degree in corporate legal advice) and a DEA (Diplôme d’études approfondies- Master of advanced studies) in business law. She is a member of the French Institute of Directors, the Rothschild Women Business Network and the APM (Association for Management Progress).
Valérie also acts as an expert at the IRCE (Regional Institute of Business Leaders) as part of the ‘Transmission d’entreprise – Objectif valorisation’ (Business Transfer – Aiming for Value) course, as well as for the Kedge Business School and the Business Law Institute of the University of Aix-Marseille in Mergers & Acquisitions.
