A lawyer since 1997, Philippe Pescayre is a partner in the tax department at Altaïr Avocats. He practises in all areas of tax law, providing both advisory and litigation services. A substantial part of his practice is dedicated to asset taxation for French and international clients.
Philippe regularly advises on fundraising and business disposals, acting for both sellers and buyers, particularly in relation to due diligence and the structuring of transactions in both domestic and international contexts. He also assists management teams in securing management packages.
He has developed particular expertise in working with family-owned groups, acting as the sole point of contact for all matters involving both corporate tax and the taxation of company directors and shareholders, particularly with regard to succession planning for future generations.
Philippe is always on the lookout for innovative and pragmatic solutions and attaches great importance to responsiveness.
Before joining Altaïr Avocats in 2026, Philippe Pescayre practised for 10 years at EY, followed by 17 years at Alerion Avocats.
