Christophe Héry is a member of the Paris Bar and co-founded Altaïr Avocats. He mainly assists the legal departments of French and foreign groups and the senior management of SMEs and SMIs in commercial transactions and disputes relating primarily to distribution law, competition law, intellectual property law and new technologies (in particular e-commerce and personal data processing).

He works more specifically with players in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, agri-food, wine and spirits, high-tech and distribution (fashion, FMCG, retail) sectors.

Christophe began his career in the legal department of the Nexans Group. He continued to specialise in distribution and competition law in litigation and commercial transactions at several business law firms, as a partner at CL&A, Lmt Avocats and then Brunswick Avocats.

He has acquired considerable expertise in the management of international litigation (judicial and arbitration) and the negotiation of transnational agreements.

He holds a double Master’s degree in business law and international law and a Law  Master (M2) degree in private international law/international trade law (University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne) and has also attended program of The Hague Academy of International Law (Netherlands) and the University of San Diego (US). He taught international commercial law and international sales law for 10 years (University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and University of Le Mans).

The Paris Bar Association has awarded him a specialisation certificate in international and European Union law. Christophe Héry regularly speaks at conferences in France and abroad and publishes articles in specialist journals and online.
